An endorsement
I try to keep beer reviews critical, though I tend to be very positive because I gravitate towards stuff I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy. (Duh, right?)
What I do try to avoid is actually promoting anybody's products. I'm just not in the advertising business and I don't intend to be.
But today I'll make an exception. If you can, go buy anything from Lagunitas.
Now.

Beer embodies an American value socialists, anarchists, and libertarians can all agree on. My favorite part of the story is how the infiltrating federal agents tried to buy marajuana at the parties, and while anyone would give them some, no one would sell it. What is it about good beer that extolls love and liberty? Maybe it just gets at the the heart of humanity.

You are correct, sir.
At a bar this weekend I saw they had Lagunitas IPA on tap. I ordered one based on your recommendation and loved it.
So I drank two.
