Lisa has posted a great little write-up of their recent visit to the Rogue Brewery...which I would say is probably my favorite of the Portland brewpubs (Bridgeport is a very close second).
Maybe we can get her to repost it over here? A female perspective wouldn't be such a horrible thing around here, would it? I hear girls like beer, too.

I don't think I need to try to sell Portland (especially to Brian -- who sold it to me), but did you know that Portland State has a food science program with a couple labs specializing in beer brewing? Thought of you.
Bridgeport is the prettiest brewpub that I've found in Portland so far, but I agree that Rogue makes better beer.
have you tried Hair of the Dog? It's supposed to be awesome -- the beer connoisseur's beer... although I don't know if connoisseur in this case means someone who loves good beer or is just pretentious.
